Garl was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable about the local area and ecology. He made sure to point out animals and plants that we were very interested in. I would 100% recommend going with Garl to the everglades. He brought the kayaks to us which made it very easy for us to enjoy a great day on the water!

If you do just ONE THING in the Everglades, go on this trip. Seriously! It is absolutely amazing and unforgettable. I can't recommend it enough! Garl is an expert at all things Everglades. He has been exploring the Everglades for over 23 years, and he is a wealth of knowledge and experience. And, he's super friendly, warm, and inviting! We're a family of four with a 7 and 10 year old, and we spent over a week in Florida that included two days at Legoland, snorkeling in Biscayne National Park, and lots of key lime pie at the Keys. And THIS was everyone's favorite activity. I'm serious - the kids loved this more than Legoland. We all loved Garl; he answered all of our questions, knew exactly where to take us to show off all that the Everglades has to offer, and he was great with our kids. As an added bonus, he took a ton of pics and then sent them to us a few days after our tour. We saw crocodiles, alligators, tons of birds, owls, snakes, orchids - you name it, and Garl knew where to find it. We felt safe the entire time as he was constantly looking for wildlife. He also knows the gators and crocs (he has names for almost all of them) because he's been tracking them for decades - yes, decades! So he understands their habits and we never felt like we were in danger, even when we were kayaking very close to both crocodiles and alligators. While the kayaking was amazing, slogging through a mangrove forest is an experience I'll never forget. I could write so much more, but please, PLEASE do yourself a favor and take this trip. It was truly phenomenal. Thank you so much, Garl!

We wanted an adventure that didn't involve that commercial feel. Seeing nature the way it should be was the plan. Garl is more than knowledgeable about flora and fauna, wildlife, eco systems and anything you might need to learn about, plus he's just an interesting person to spend the day with. We saw the Everglades up close and personal. We saw lots of fish, orchids, alligators and crocodiles! Can't wait to tour again in different weather, seasons e.t.c since each one will provide different wildlife and nature experiences. Our day was rather windy and it had rained a few days prior. This is not a tour, it's an adventure.
