We arrived in NYC right after the New Year. We did not have dinner reservations for the day we arrived. Most restaurants were full or had long wait. We wanted a good burger. We found our way to Hard Rock. They too were full and were building a wait list. We got lucky when one of the waitresses saw us and offered us counter seats in her sections. We grabbed them. Although I would have preferred a table, the counter worked out well. It was a good place to people watch. My husband and daughter got burgers and were very pleased. I got the fajitas and I think they were the best I’ve ever had. Desserts were good too…apple crumble (I think) and cheesecake. The food was tasty and quality. Good portion sizes. The atmosphere was fun with the music and Rick memorabilia. We were not rushed. There was a very long line to get in when we left.

We now have been in multiple Hard Rock Cafes and the food is really nothing special. It's good it's filling but that's it. This time it was fun because there was a Live Auction going on. Unfortunately the AC was super cold so we all had to wear scarfs to avoid having stiff necks. The shop though is fun!

This is the worst HRC I have had the displeasure of visiting and I have been in many worldwide. The bar staff are full of themselves and absolute rubbish at doing what they are there to do, only to serve drinks. The table staff are rude and unhelpful. All the staff we interfaced with are continually chasing tips. Do not visit, it will be a waste of your time. We had one drink at the bar and left, we had planned on dining there, but there are plenty places to choose from nearby.
