We went to Hard Rock for an early dinner, thinking that it wouldn't be as crowded. We had a reservation so we didn't have to wait. It was a bit crowded, but not what i would consider "slammed". Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. My husband requested his drink in a tall glass rather than in a rocks glass. It came in a rocks glass. We ordered appetizers, which were served in a reasonable amount of time. Spicy shrimp and nachos - both were just ok. My husband ordered another drink, reminded our server that it was supposed to be in a tall glass. Again, it came back in a rocks glass. We ordered our entrees, which arrived fairly quickly. My salmon was excellent. My husband's strip steak was cooked a perfect medium rare but it was very tough. He ordered another drink which FINALLY arrived in a pint glass. Our granddaughters burger was just ok, the fries were over salted, and our daughter's chicken sandwich was just ok. Not at all what we had experienced at many other Hard Rock locations.
As far as memorabilia goes, there weren't many pieces at all. Maybe they're going for more of a minimalist look?
The Rock Shop has a decent selection of shirts and gifts.
Bottom line, reasonable wait time on food, friendly personable servers, great music. Over priced drinks - $15.49 for Captain Morgan and Club Soda in a rocks glass...charged as a double shot, which it definitely wasn't. $15.99 for Captain Morgan and Club Soda in a pint glass, charged as a 2.5 shot, which it definitely wasn't. I doubt we'll go back to this location again.
