Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Due to FAA regulations there is a 290lb weight limit per seat including any gear a guest is carrying
Seats and helicopters are assigned based on balancing the weight of the helicopter for safety, although an effort is made to accommodate guest preference
Child pricing is for those under 12 years old and infants are considered babies under 24 months

On the train from Anchorage to Seward, my aunt and I noticed the ad and dared to check it out. Neither of us had ever been in a helicopter before. Neither of us had ever been on a glacier before. Neither of us had ever been dog sledding before. It was the trifecta! We cannot regret anything about this excursion and would strongly recommend it to anyone.Too bad it was at the beginning of our Alaska trip because we held every other activity up in comparison. It ended up being the highlight of our trip. By the way, it gets pretty warm up on the glacier on sunny days. Don't overdress. But it can be windy, so take a scarf.

Glacier Dogsledding was our favorite activity in the two weeks we spent in Alaska and the Helicopter landing on Godwin Glacier was amazing too. We got to cuddle puppies that will run in the Iditarod Race when grown. Incredible experience. Our pilot, Edmond, showed us the most beautiful views and our guide, Ally, told us so much about the dogs that now we’ll need to start watching the Iditarod Races. Ally was very passionate about the dogs in the best way. We highly recommend this.

This was the highlight of our Alaskan trip. Great communication from Seward Helicopter Tours. Amazing experience, the helicopter ride was fantastic. Haven, our musher was amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly and felt like we had known her forever. It was a blessing to be able to experience Alaska this way. Would highly recommend it!
