Monument Valley speaks for itself. The beautiful red rock monoliths, the native plants, and the amazing iconic sights. You can one minute be in a rainstorm, the next the sun will be out. Each season changing the landscape into a unique masterpiece. Our guides love to share where to get the best photo op. If you go with Navajo spirit tours you will find all our guides are unique and amazing, they bring the Valley alive with their love for teaching and sharing their firsthand experiences within Navajo culture. They have all grown up locally so have a wealth of knowledge that they so eloquently and freely share. They love a good adventure and look at each guest that visits as a friend. Navajo Spirit tours doesn’t want you to just visit they want you to take a bit of Monument Valley home with you in your heart.

Although the young man, I believe his name was Steven? Was about 30 minutes late because of truck problems, we were provided the full tour. He was a fountain of Navajo culture information and it added greatly to the tour. He explained the background behind the petroglyphs we saw and said we could go as close as we wanted but asked that we respectfully not touch them as oils from the skin would eventually degrade them. We visited a number of airs off limits from the public 17 mile loop road and each place as beautiful as the last. It was a memorable tour to say the least. If you visit Monument Valley you should really consider one of the Navajo tours advertised. There are a number of different options. This one is highly recommended.

This was a truly enjoyable afternoon. From the scenery, the visit to a Navajo hogan to the variety of things seen, this tour was well worth the time. Gary has a philosopher's approach to his tour that really made me think!

Larson was an amazing guide, sharing his experiences and knowledge of Navajo culture. Seeing parts of the park not accessible was great.
