This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

This was fantastic and well worth the money! We learned so much and the guides are incredible. Isaac was engaging and made us feel so comfortable and we walked away with a deep respect for the sport of dog mushing.

We had a great time learning about the dogs and how they were prepared to race. The trek through the woods with the dogs pulling us was a blast. The dogs were so excited when they saw we were getting ready to go. Highly recommended.
