This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

Absolutely great experience! Don’t do Alaska without it! You will see others advertised—but choose this one as you can drive the sled and meet several Iditarod winners and racers! So glad we did this! The staff is fabulous—just real people who love the dogs so much.

Absolutely wonderful! We were told this was the sled dog experience to do and we were not disappointed! Everything from the staff, the education, the dogs, etc was great! Definitely a must do in AK!

The BEST tour we did in Alaska. We did the summer dryland mushing and loved it. The guides were super friendly and informative as they let us meet the dogs, hold the puppies, gave us details of the mushing world and guided us as we drove through the forest. Definitely a bucket list adventure. I believe they're the only kennel that lets you personally drive a dog sled (in Talkeetna & Denali) and hold puppies, which are the two best parts. Highly recommend!!
