You will depart Rapid City at 8:30 am and travel to Mount Rushmore. You will spend time hiking around the monument. Next, you will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial, learning the importance and history of Crazy Horse. Finally, you will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. You will be able to see wildlife at an incredibly close proximity and enjoy the local flora. In each of these locations, you will gain unique and rare insight into the history of the Black Hills. Lunch will be enjoyed at an exquisite local restaurant of your choosing.

There is a two-person minimum to book this tour.

We will depart Rapid City at 8:30am and travel to Mount Rushmore. Once there, we will spend some time hiking around the monument. You will receive unique information and history about the monument, and have an opportunity to experience local wildlife and flora.

My husband and I traveled with my parents (85 and 83). Mark was incredible! He was patient and knowledgeable and thought of everything. We left the tour design up to Mark and he did not disappoint. He rearranged tours to accommodate, but made sure my husband and I could pop in and see areas my parents could not physically get to. Mark’s knowledge of the area (the history, the geography, the animals, the flora and fauna, and the folklore) has to be second to none. Thank you! Thank you for all of the wonderful memories you helped create!

An amazing day!!! Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, and Needles Scenic Highway. It was all incredible, but my favorites are the beauty of the rock formations on the Needles Highway and Crazy Horse Memorial (so very moving!) Keep scrolling to see an amazing lake (Sylvan Lake) and a very unique rock formation at the end. Loved all of it!! Jamie- THANKS AGAIN for a great day!

What a perfect tour. Denny picked us up at 9:15 from our Bed and breakfast Summer Creek. Denny was a great tour guide with all the history. We first went to see Mount Rushmore, then Crazy horse and our favorite Needles.
