Plan to arrive at least 1/2in advance on busy holiday weekend. Lines for security screening were long and slow, wrapping around building. Faster access can gained by contacting tour guide thru Museum Educational door on street level located on left side of main entrance stairs. Call your guide to meet you with your prepaid tickets to avoid long access lines. Jeff was very knowledgeable & great at relating history through story telling about various pieces to help connect the dots as you tour thru various sections of the museum. Well worth the time and money invested!!! Group size was 8 in size. Just right! Very enjoyable!

Our first time to the met. Jeff our guide gave us a wonderful and informative experience. We hit a lot of the principal highlights at at good pace. I would recommend this tour as a great starting off point for someone looking to get a good lay of the land. Jeff also sprinkled in many gems of information about the museum and the pieces we viewed. If you’ve never been here and are planning on viewing it the entire museum you would be wise to invest in a tour guide and maybe spread it out over several days! It’s that big! Great job Babylon Tours we will be sure to recommend you to all of our friends. One important piece of advice, even though the tickets say bypass the line it doesn’t bypass the security line. It was very busy on the day we visited and raining. The security line held us up quite a bit and we arrived at our meeting point a few minutes late but Jeff delayed and even tracked down a few members of our tour that were held up by the security check point. Thanks Jeff, outstanding job!!!

The Met is so overwhelming that we thought a 2 1/2 hour tour to distill it down was the way to tackle it since we only had 1/2 day. Jeff was awesome! He hit the highlights. We were able to to tailor it to our particular interests but he also hit on some of the prized pieces and gave many back stories associated with the acquisition of some of the pieces. Great fun!
