Phil was our tour guide. He was very informative and fun to be with. We went to Crazy Horse which we all loved and then to Deadwood City.

Pick up was prompt, our guide was very knowledgeable and saw a lot of more local sites. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

The tour did not deliver what was promised. Per the tripadvisor “What to expect” description: “Hop in the open-top vehicle..”, we had a closed van with dirty windows. “cruise down Iron Mountain Road in your open-top vehicle where you stop to take photos”, we only stopped once. Other than one stop on needles highway, and stops at Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore, we never got out of the van. “visit Mount Coolidge Lookout”, didn’t happen “Make a midday stop at Sylvan Lake for a picnic lunch (included)..”, We drove by the lake. There was no stopping for lunch. We went from 8:30 till the end of the tour (Crazy Horse monument) around 2:30 without eating. The driver, Kevin, never invited us to the water and snacks provided, we had to ask. The snacks were stale. When another couple asked what about lunch at the lake, Kevin said that was another tour, yet all of us expected it. He managed to eat breakfast at Mt. Rushmore when the tour started. At Crazy Horse monument, we did not have an opportunity to visit the site because we all elected to go eat. The line was long and it was all we had time to do. Then we only had time to eat a soft pretzel. We had to go back the next day and pay an additional 35.00 to get in. Kevin was not an enjoyable guide, no sense of humor and not personable at all. There was not enough free time at each of the monuments (especially if you chose to eat there), and he allowed the movies at the site to do his work. I have been on enough guided tours that the guide at least communicates with the group. My group of 3 was very disappointed considering the price we paid. I can tell the other 5 where particularly upset about going six hours without food.

For the short drive to and from the monuments, we us vans, minivans, handicap van, minibus and Jeeps. Please contact us for more information or for special needs." The Bundle tour we provided you is exactly as the above explaines. We offer other tours that include the monuments - plus Mt Coolidge, Sylvan Lake lunch etc. But thats not the tour you purchased.
