This kayak tour sets off to see a few of the many precious gems of Door County.

You will experience thousand year old caves, ancient fossils, and Whitefish Dunes State Park.

After an introductory lesson and a calm launch from a location north of Cave Point, you'll follow the coast until seeing the coves of Cave Point County Park where you'll creep along listening to the wonderful sound of the water and enjoying the view of the caves. Then explore the caves with the kayaks, and finally head towards Whitefish Bay Dunes State Park.

At this point, you will turn around and return to the launch location or head to the take-out point at the Whitefish Bay Town boat launch (dependent upon the wind). The caves are not viewable from the land.

This was a great kayak tour. The guide was excellent and really made it a nice experience. It was a beautiful day, a great day to be outdoors. The operation was very professional, and everyone involved was extremely friendly. I would recommend to anybody coming to Door County.

We chose to do the Cave Point Kayak Tour out of Jacksonport first thing in the morning. It was the right decision as the water was calm. Our guide Brynne was great! She shared insights about the lake and rock formations along the way. We also got to jump off rocks and enter into the cave. It was the perfect start to a day and a great activity for families.

The staff was great as was their service. I only rated it average because 5 out of the 6 caves are submerged which has nothing to do with Cave Point Kayak Tour. They day we went was calm and beautiful, kayaks and equipment were in good shape. Tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful with a positive attitude.

There has only ever been 1 cave to kayak into, not sure what you are referring to about the 6 caves. That cave is shrinking because of the water levels, buy you can still kayak into that cave if it is calm enough. We glad to know that the water was calm and that you overall enjoyed the tour. Sadly, we cannot control the water levels, but I'm glad you still enjoyed your time with us! Feel free to book again in the future!
