This kayak tour sets off to see a few of the many precious gems of Door County.

You will experience thousand year old caves, ancient fossils, and Whitefish Dunes State Park.

After an introductory lesson and a calm launch from a location north of Cave Point, you'll follow the coast until seeing the coves of Cave Point County Park where you'll creep along listening to the wonderful sound of the water and enjoying the view of the caves. Then explore the caves with the kayaks, and finally head towards Whitefish Bay Dunes State Park.

At this point, you will turn around and return to the launch location or head to the take-out point at the Whitefish Bay Town boat launch (dependent upon the wind). The caves are not viewable from the land.

We were greeted by our guide right away and felt welcomed. Andy was fun and set the tone for a great trip. The water was so clear....cold but clear!LOL! The shore line was stunning and it was a doable trip for my family ranges 19-70 years old. (We have only done kayak a few times before.) The kayaks were in good condition and comfortable. would highly recommend this trip to friends :)

I went on the Cave Point tour with my family (4 adults and 1 kid) and we all had a great time! We watched a safety video before going on the water. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and very good with making sure everybody was doing okay on their kayaks. The scenery was just gorgeous and going into the cave was awesome. Very nice activity to do with the entire family!
