By far the best way to tour the Everglades! We took the all day tour beginning with a hike through the Everglades and ending with a kayaking tour. Garl was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the Everglades. It was evident he had a true passion for his work and the preservation of this breathtaking place. The tour is built around the attendees and can be as rigorous or relaxed as you wish. I would highly recommend this tour for all ages and activity levels. I would definitely go again.

I went on the full day kayak adventure with Garl as my guide on Thursday June 29th. It was just me and a younger couple on the trip. Everyone had paddling experience, so we were able to see quite a bit. The trip was definitely an adventure, and we saw gators, a crock, dolphins, manatee, shark, and lots of different types of birds. Garl is extremely knowledgeable, and he reminds me of a super chill science professor..... You can tell he loves what he does, and makes for a great guide. If you are looking for a petting zoo, or staged settings just so you can see some animals, then this is not the trip for you. This was about as real as it gets without going on a full on expedition, and definitely lets you experience wildlife in the glades at its best with an experienced guide at your side. I would also add, the beauty of this kind of trip was that Garl catered it around what we wanted, and what we were capable of doing. Definitely recommend it to others.

This was hands down one of the most fun days I've ever had. My friend and I wanted to check out the Everglades and were told by a trusted friend in no uncertain terms that the only way to do it was with Garl. Plain and simple. Boy was he right. Garl has a passion for the terrain and the wildlife like none other. We did the full day tour which was a hike through the glades as well as kayaking that culminated in a breathtaking sunset in Florida Bay. The hike was a mud-soaked hoot so prepare to get dirty. We meandered our way within feet of some gnarly alligators all the while Garl keeping some of the more pensive guests calm with some finely timed humor. Saw some wonderful foliage while slogging as well. Then we got back in the van and got going on part 1 of the kayak portion of the day. Amazing time through the tall grass. I floated within what seemed like inches of an alligator. It was heart stopping and glorious. I didn't sense any danger since I was just passing but my oh my was it exciting. After that we loaded up and headed to Florida Bay (and stopped to fill up a cooler with some snacks, water and a few adult beverages...shhh). Nothing like a catching the sunset on the water with a cold one. Once you finish all of that and you think you can't possibly handle more...make sure you take advantage of the night walk anyhow. So. Many. Gators. Dozens of them as you look down from the safety of the walkway shining your red flashlights and catching the glimmer of their eyes. Mesmerizing. All in all this was a top notch day and as bonus Garl shoots photos throughout and shares them with you after. Total gentleman and a great operation.

We are really glad you had a great time, Steve! I hope you visit again- as the seasons change so do the wildlife sightings. Right now we are up to our ears in dolphin, manatee, sharks and even flamingos!
