The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

Excellent experience! Participated with my 12 year old son and Chef Raymond was so friendly and encouraging. He really inspired us to try these amazing recipes at home. My son even remarked on how great the food was as we were walking back to our hotel from the class. This was an experience to remember!

We had a fantastic time doing the Cajun Roux Cooking Class. The group we were taking the class with was so much fun. Our food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to do a really fun thing during your stay.

This class was the highlight of our New Orleans trip. Chef Raymond created a fun and educational atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
