  • Max per-passenger seat weight limit is 300 lbs. Passengers with bodyweights exceeding 300 lbs. can still be accommodated in our Jet or Long Ranger aircraft. An additional fee may apply, payable directly to Scenic Helicopter Tours on the day of the tour.
  • All passengers must be weighed at check-in per FAA regulations and in the interest of passenger safety. Only the flight crew will have access to passenger weights, and all information will be kept confidential.

Had an awesome flying experience!! Definitely would recommend doing this tour! It was absolutely breath taking! Our pilot Sean/Justin did an amazing job of showing us the sites, and describing all the land layouts as well as the mountains. As well as Jon making sure we were all safe and secure before and after our flight! Definitely gave us a memory that we will always remember & cherish! Thanks guys!!!

Husband and I took the Ridge Runner tour with pilot Zac. Our boarding attendant, Sean, helped us in and out of the copter (that back seat is tight but comfortable once you're in). All of the staff are really personable and fun. The flight was smooth and just amazing to see the Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge areas and a little bit of the Smokies and Wears Valley area from the air. A little turbulence over the mountains, which was expected, but nothing major. Husband was a little nervous about the whole experience but also had a blast and wants to do it again.

My husband talked me into doing this and I'm so glad he did! This was my first time flying in a helicopter. Raz our boarding attendant was very informative and clearly explained everything to us which rested my nerves. Zac our pilot was simply amazing! He was very knowledgeable about all the the landmarks and made our flight very enjoyable! We will definitely be back to fly with him again on a longer flight! Well worth the money!
