Learn to surf on this 2-hour group lesson on Oahu. Join a group of students and discover how to ride the waves like some of the Island's most famous celebrities with the help of a certified, professional instructor. We have small student to instructor ratio of 1 instructor for every 3-4 students. Waikiki Surf Lesson starts a 10 minute safety slide show inside our surf shop, followed by heading to the beach and practicing on the sand for another 10 minutes. In our 20 year experience, we know that surfing is muscle memory, so when first timers master their surf stance then they tend to get up on their very first wave.

I’m 55 years young and I finally learned how to surf! The guys teach you well and help you make it happen. I have an athletic background, but this is the first time I’ve actually stood up on a surfboard successfully. By the end of the session I’d rode around 5 good waves all the way in. So fun!!

The lesson was poorly organized. Not for beginners as promised. Very hard to paddle back towards the ocean for beginners due to the ocean condition. Not worth our money and I am so disappointed that I wasted $300. At the end of our lesson, They left my daughter in the ocean and she was not able to get herself back to the shore. Was helped by another instructor who didn’t belong to the group. Our instructors were oblivious of her struggling out in the ocean.There were only 7 in the group and they could not pay attention to each participant, although they were two instructors for the group.
