I have gone parasailing with Hawaiian Parasail a couple of times over the past few years and they have been great. They recently moved their location from the main marina to the smaller marine next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. They provide free van service pickup/dropoff but the new location was within walking distance of our hotel so we walked over. We paid $30 for a 600 foot line parasail experience. My advice, pay for the least expensive line because it seems like everybody goes out the same distance (even if they pay for more line). So why Hawaiian Parasail versus one of the other companies? I like the fact that I have gone out with the same employees for over three years. To me that means they are experienced and that they treat their employees well. They speak enough Japanese to communicate the basics. They are fun. They are not pushy about selling their photos packages etc.. They understand that some people are nervous or that some people choose not to get their butts dipped into the water and they tailor the experience to the client. So hats off to Hawaiian Parasail! The awesome thing about parasailing is that the experience is very much like going up in a hot air balloon. Once you are up it is so quiet and still and smooth. Great views of Waikiki. Go for it!

I didn't explore other parasail companies at Waikiki and got this booked by my hotel concierge. Found them very professional, they pick you up and drop you at your hotel and they were right on time. About the parasail me and my wife took the 1000 ft line but didnt really feel the difference between 1000 & 1200 ft line. Again it all depends on captain's mood when he decides to bring you back from the top . They give you an option for taking the photo package ( 30 $ and give a SD card to take home ). The location of the parasail is good, you get good views of Waikiki beach & diamond head and you feel lot of peace when you are at top ( considering we did on a non windy day ). Give it a try if you want to do this activity ! For me I have done it twice at different places, and wont do it again as it does not give me the Adrenaline Rush as with skydiving :)

Best parasail company in Waikiki. They will pick you up and return you to your hotel. The boat is well outfitted and very comfortable. We have done the 800, 1,000 and 1,200 foot line. For the money difference, I think you would be happy with the 1,000 foot. I really didn't feel any difference from the 1,000 to the 1,200. Once you are up there, sit back and enjoy the fantastic views of Waikiki and Diamondhead. It is a very quiet and peaceful flight. We didn't want to risk dropping a camera so we purchased a waterproof disposable camera for $8 at CVS. Took the camera to Costco and had them put the pictures on a disc for $4 for easy transfer to the computer. Got great pictures of our feet dangling far above the boat below and held the camera out for a couple shot with the canopy above. You can purchase the photo option from the boat for $30. We arranged with another couple on the boat to take pictures of us from the boat with our camera and we did the same for them, they took great pictures for us. It is true that your air time goes by fast, but the times are the same for all the parasailing companies. Once your time is done, enjoy the time on the boat. Hawaiian Parasail has coupons in the What's Happening magazine and we had one from the entertainment book which was good for buy one get one free. If you are going to Hawaii, it's a good idea to purchase the Hawaii entertainment book before you go, many good deals. Enjoy your trip!!!
