We had a horrible experience with this company during my vacation in Oahu with my boyfriend. The staff, including the crew of the boat and the girl working at the booth, are very unprofessional and impolite. For starters, each party in our boat had a ride much shorter than the 15 minutes they promised when we made the reservation. When it was my boyfriend and my turn, the crew put us with another single man, without any notice in advance. We told him we don't want to do that, but the crew insisted by saying that we are too light. We had no choice but taking the ride with the third person. We understand the whole safety issue, BUT we would appreciate it if their staff could tell us when we made the reservation for two of us parasailing together or before we got on the boat or at least before we committed to pay for the extra photo service when we had been on the boat for 40 minutes. NOT the last minute. We were shocked and this is really insulting. When we told the girl working at the booth we were unhappy about this trip upon return, she kept blaming Big Wave Dave Surf Co. who helped us book this parasailing trip, she even blamed us. She called (or pretended to call) Big Wave Dave Surf Co. couple times but told us no one picked up. This is unbelievable. It is supposed to be a romantic trip for us, but instead we were mistreated and insulted. Be aware of this company. I forgot to mention that we also waited for at least 20 minutes before the driver showed up. The entire 3 hours we spent with company is a waste.

This should have been one of my best Hawaiian experiences! We got picked up from our hotel by a super friendly driver and met our boat crew on the waterfront. The crew were great and we chatted for ages. We had 8 people on our boat who were parasailing and me and my sister had gone for the 1000 ft. I was not prepared for how scary it would be up that high but it was amazing!! The view was incredible and the feeling of flying that high behind a boat was awesome! If only they had us in the air for the 10 minutes stated on their website at the time of booking (Or even increased this to 15 minutes). We felt like we had maybe 3 minutes max before we were brought down (via the ocean - they dunk you in which is great fun!). If I'd been up there for 10-15 minutes I would have left with a much better feeling than I did and would not have hesitated to give this tour 5 stars. I know these guys want to get as many people in the air as possible to make more money but I would have probably gone twice if I'd been given those extra 10 minutes!

Loved the folks at Hawaiian Parasail!! The driver picked us up at our condo, and took then brought us back to our condo. His name was Sam and he was very knowledgeable about the island, extremely helpful, and super friendly!! He made our experience that much better!! The island of Oahu was having a parade, and he knew all the side roads to get us back to our condo in a timely matter, and not be stuck in traffic!! Thanks again, Sam!! You rock!!!!! ~The Grissom Family, from Tennessee~
