2.5-Hour Denali Wilderness ATV Adventure Tour

Overview
Get ready for an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness with an ATV tour from Denali. On an automatic single or double ATV, you'll ride along trails surrounded by Denali National Park at speeds up to 30 mph (48 kph), and make stops to enjoy 360-degree views of the Alaska Range, Otto Lake, and the Healy Valley. Traverse rocky creek beds and splash through the water (weather permitting) as a guide leads you through the rugged terrain and provides opportunities for photography. Wildlife is abundant, so watch for moose on the trail. When booking, select from several departure times and decide whether you want a single or 2-passenger side-by-side ATV.

My husband and I spent four fabulous days in the Denali Park area at the end of a seven day cruise. Our one excursion was to take ATV's through the area just north of the park. They picked us up at our hotel and took us up the road to Healy where we were given instructions, a helmet and our vehicle. My husband and I road a side by side while a few road individual machines. Overall the experience was fun however the trails were extremely rough and there were quite a few of us so we had to ride at the speed of the slowest person, that was not so fun. The guides were great; entertaining and informative. I would recommend this tour but try to go when there are not so many people.

My husband and I had a blast cruising around Denali on a side-by-side ATV together. At first we were a little hesitant as we've never ridden ATVs and weren't sure how dirty we'd get, how wet we'd get, and whether or not we would just look like fools and slow down everyone else. Those fears were quickly erased and the entire experience was fun and memorable. When we went, Denali was at the tail end of a rather dry mid-summer season so there wasn't a lot of mud or water on the trails (although it was lightly raining during our ride); just enough to get a feel for it but not so much that we needed to change our pants afterwards. The trails were a lot of fun with plenty of bumps and rocks and a few wide-open areas where the guides let us push the envelope a little. The stopping points were all breathtaking and offered gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and back country. Finally, Chris, Shane, and Tucker were simply the best. They had great attitudes, tons of stories, and ran a very organized and safe experience. Seriously, they kept everything moving and we never once felt like we were waiting for something to happen. Great job, guys!

We had an awesome time with Gale, Rachel, and Tucker! They were great guides, made the trip fun and each had their own contribution to a little fun and interesting education about our views, and Alaskan wildlife. Even our bus driver Wayne was super entertaining and filled with great info and fun stories. Thanks so much! We will be back!
