2.5-Hour Denali Wilderness ATV Adventure Tour

Overview
Get ready for an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness with an ATV tour from Denali. On an automatic single or double ATV, you'll ride along trails surrounded by Denali National Park at speeds up to 30 mph (48 kph), and make stops to enjoy 360-degree views of the Alaska Range, Otto Lake, and the Healy Valley. Traverse rocky creek beds and splash through the water (weather permitting) as a guide leads you through the rugged terrain and provides opportunities for photography. Wildlife is abundant, so watch for moose on the trail. When booking, select from several departure times and decide whether you want a single or 2-passenger side-by-side ATV.

We were in the area on June 11, 2019 and did a side by side ride. It was amazing, Sam, Shane and Cooper were awesome. of course it rained the night before so we had some good puddles. On our stops they guys were very knowledgable about the area.

Donā€™t waste your time or money on this boring activity. You go slow, <10 mph, most of the time, in a single file line, so close that you smell the exhaust of the person in front. Youā€™re constantly starting and stopping because itā€™s basically like rush hour traffic. They even warn you that if they hear you giving the machine some throttle, they will go slower and maybe have a talk with you. They also tell you to follow their tracks exactly because they know the best way through a puddle. Talk about micro manage. Most of the ride goes in circles on trails cut through trees so you donā€™t see much of a view. Obviously because of the noise, you donā€™t see any wildlife. When you stop on a break, the guides, trying to appear like a knowledgeable expert, give you a geology speech they memorized the day before, because rocks are fascinating. We even canceled a second reservation, losing money since they wonā€™t give refunds, because it was a waste of time. The guides were nice though. Youā€™re in Denali; go see the park. Free hikes are more fun.

What a fun day on the ATV at Denali. Shane and MaryLeigh were great guides. They know the trails very well and are knowledgeable about the area. There was a lot of rain the previous night which made for some great mudholes to drive through. The Wolverine ATV's were awesome machines. Would definitely recommend riding with Shane and MaryLeigh!
