Overview

Get ready for an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness with an ATV tour from Denali. On an automatic single or double ATV, you'll ride along trails surrounded by Denali National Park at speeds up to 30 mph (48 kph), and make stops to enjoy 360-degree views of the Alaska Range, Otto Lake, and the Healy Valley. Traverse rocky creek beds and splash through the water (weather permitting) as a guide leads you through the rugged terrain and provides opportunities for photography. Wildlife is abundant, so watch for moose on the trail. When booking, select from several departure times and decide whether you want a single or 2-passenger side-by-side ATV.

I was with a group of young Soldiers from Fort Wainwright doing a weekend resiliency event and we all thought this would be a good activity to do for our free time. It was not good, it was GREAT! We got to see some great sights in the Denali wilderness area. Drive excellent running ATVs. Be directed by excellent Guides and ride through all types of terrain including the greatest creek riding ever. Highly recommend.

Wanted to go where we couldn’t go by car. Excellent photo ops. Rachel and Shane were excellent instructors and guides for our private tour. They taught us how to drive the machines and offered tips on the way. You go up and down rough trails and through water, so you’ll end up a little dusty. Kids will love it, but they’ll have to ride with an adult. Rachel and Shane are intelligent and generous guides. (Don’t forget to leave a good tip!)

I’m a first time ATV rider and thoroughly enjoyed the rocky trail ride. I didn’t know I’d learn a little about Alaska along the way- we made 3 stops at scenic areas and the guides Cooper, Tucker, and Gayle shared some information about the spots. My guide Cooper made sure I felt confident about driving alone and answered my questions. It was a fun adventure for me!
