Charlene is great and always available. We had booked the 3.5 hour cultural tour but due to rains the back country was unavailable. Charlene was honest about it and changed our tour to 2.5 and charged us the lower rate. I appreciate this honesty and is one of the reasons you should feel comfortable booking with Charlene. The other is the guide, Peter, was really amazing. He was very knowledgeable and answered everyone’s questions. You could tell he was a proud Navajo and his passion for his culture really came through. One of the extra nice benefits is if you are staying at the View hotel, Charlene meets you in the lobby, which makes it very convenient. Highly recommended.

It's been years since we last visited Monument Valley so decided it was "time" for a re-visit. Many of the old Western movies were filmed here, including several with John Wayne. It had rained the day & night before but the morning dawned clear & bright. We opted to take a Navajo guided tour with Dineh Bekeyah Tours for a couple of reasons: to avoid ruining the suspension in our vehicle (!! ... the dirt roads are narrow & pretty rough); to have a better view of the iconic formations & those "behind the scenes" places that are restricted to only those of Indian heritage. Our guide Roz told us about the first visitors to Monument Valley, gave us information about the various formations, & also shared insight into growing up as a Native American. Going off the (more!) beaten path to the restricted areas showed us an additional side to the wonders of Monument Valley. The tour was a tad expensive ($75 pp, plus we gave her a nice tip) but we felt this was really the best way to see all there is to see in Monument Valley. Highly recommend.

My dear wife and I did enjoy an exceptionally well organised tour mid September. - Thanks Charlene for all the swift e-mail reply and setting up. We had an early start (straight after sunrise) shortly after 07:00am. Our tour was very 'crowded' - it was my wife and me and yeah our ..... drive, guide, Navajo Historian, Story teller, singer, magic flute player .... all in one person - thanks you so much Derek. The 3 of us had nice conversations and we learnt a lot. This was the best tour we had during a 2-weeks vacation trip (Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Page with Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon - Monument Valley - Arches National Park - Dead Horse Point -Canyonland NP - Capital Reef NP - Bryce Canyon NP - Zion NP - back to crazy Vegas. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
