Overview

The Bender family continues a 50 year tradition of traveling in open air style safari vehicles north of Corolla along the ocean and sand dunes on a 2 hour, small group, excursion sharing history and ecology along the way. We stop for several photo opportunities and points of interests along the way, as well including private access to the Wild Horse Conservation Area. This tour also included a professional and knowledgeable horse guide to educate you on what you are seeing. Choose from one of 3 departure times when you book.

For now, we will allow maximum capacity ONLY for one family or group per household if staying together in the same rental house. Otherwise, the maximum will be TWELVE (12) people.

If you have more than 12 people please call us directly for accommodations.

We will NOT be able to allow any children UNDER 40 POUNDS on the tour.

My husband and I loved our Wild Horse Tour! Corolla Outback Adventures was the perfect choice in tour company because they have private property where we felt non-intrusive when we did encounter and stop to watch the wild horses. Our guide Paul was clearly passionate about the safety and well being of the horses and was able to give us a lot of interesting information. He was a great guide all together- funny and personable! Would definitely do another tour with Corolla Outback Adventures!

We had a great tour with Paul looking for the wild horses! Paul was as entertaining as he was professional and did a great job navigating the island. We hoped to see horses in their habitat and we saw this and more! Paul knows where the horses like to hang out and he's thoroughly familiar with the roads and brush. We greatly enjoyed our drive along the beach road and a great group of fellow adventurers. This was on my husband's "bucket list" and it was wonderful!

We went out with Corolla Outback Adventures. Great tour & I highly recommend them!! Our guide shared many interesting facts about the horses, history & life in Corolla & Corova. He made sure we saw many of the horses. It was bumpy but these seats are comfortable and cushy making it a great ride. The side seating allowed for clear views for picture taking too.
