Great fun. Easy river to navigate. Shep our guide explained all we needed to know on the ride. River has some fast moving water so that keeps you aware and it was fun

This was my 4th trip. I am 82 years old and I took a friend who is 81. Kind of amazing. The river was awesome. We made it known to Ashley and Martin that we were a bit concerned with just the 2 of us on the river. My friend has cancer and is on chemotherapy. This was one of the reasons the trip was so important to her. I have raved about my former 3 trips. I am not sure why guides are no longer available to go with you and $100 for a short bus ride seems a bit ridiculous. However, what I want you to know is that we were planning on having someone at the shore to help us get out of the kayak and that did not happen. We sat and waited, but no one showed up. I took a fall out of my kayak and hurt my arm. I was wet to the waist, The prices at the winery will not cover any $20 treat. Fortunately, they saw us shivering and gave us blankets. This adventure is no longer worth the money. Also, damaged my car keys in the fall and had to call road service. Triple negative. Cannot minimize the beauty of the river. bring your own kayak.
