Kayaks had almost no back support and were very dirty inside. First experience with inflatable kayaks which were very hard to direct making for lots of effort required to get down stream. We didnā€™t realize that this was a self guided trip. Rapids were very small so guide wasnā€™t needed. Winery was very disorganized. The owners really harassed a fellow traveler saying that his name wasnā€™t on their list from Verde Adventures. After about 30 minutes they found his name on the list. We would not recommend

Great combination of floating down the river and wrapping up with wine tasting at a charming winery!

Our first kayak trip and we had a ball. The river was down (short on monsoons this year) so we had to do some maneuvering to get off the rocks but that was half the fun and challenge. The float and bonus riffles (can't call them rapids) was a blast. The trip did not have a guide due to Covid 19 but it was not difficult to find your way and the pre-trip training was sufficient to the task at hand. All of the staff in attendance were helpful and courteous. Our only concern was with the transport to the drop-in point and the winery. There was no ability to social distance and there were several other guests without masks and no one asked them to put one on. It was definitely not as private or protected as the description leads one to believe. The winery was clearly understaffed and table service for the wine did not exist. We most likely would not return to the winery but enjoyed the kayaking greatly.
