This was an amazing experience! At my leisure I was able to kayak at my own pace, this was a pleasant surprise. The views were amazing! There was a coolness from the breeze and the water. A few little minor rapids, but nothing dangerous. At calmer points in the water, I just layed down in the kayak and enjoyed being on the water and in nature. Make sure to bring sunscreen, although there were plenty of shaded areas. There were several points you could have parked to get in and swim. You end at a winery which has some great wines and snacks. I would definitely recommend this tour as a relaxing was to enjoy the day. I would definitely do it again and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing adventure.

First time kayaking and we had a blast. They were very thorough with instructions and the wine tasting credit at the end was icing on the cake.

My husband and I went over Memorial Day weekend and would recommend and do it again in a heartbeat! We did a longer trip down the river through another provider about 3 years ago and that one was a little too long! LOL Our guide Mark was very helpful and the staff at Alcantara was great!
