Amazing and awesome. We saw 2 separate pods of Killer Whales. They Naturalist knew there names by the smallest details on there fins. Eric, Brit and Capt. John were very personable and knowledgeable. We learned great information about the Killer Whales, Humpback Whales, Risso Dolphins and Otters we saw throughout the trip. Best part was the smaller boat which meant less people so you could interact with the crew on a more personal level. I know where Eric went to school, where he lived before Monterey and we even talked about restaurants in Monterey. You don't get that on the bigger boats. Highly recommend Discovery Whale Watching

Wonderful experience. Saw about 5 grey south bound whales- and pretty close up. The naturalist talked sometimes over the speaker, but many times would have side conversations with other people. Wish he could've educated us some more. Very friendly guy though. The captain was pretty nice and really wanted us to have the best experience as well. Would do this again. Wish there was more seating as well.

Excellent, knowledgeable crew. They talked to us frequently and constantly told us where to go on the boat for the best views of both whales and dolphins. On our excursion we saw gray whales, hump-back whales, and three pods of dolphins. Truly wonderful experience.
