Well organised and office/starting point well located on the pier. It would have helped if they had suggested parking. Unfortunately we saw more wildlife within 5 minutes of the fishing harbour, than we did the rest of the cruise. From that perspective the whale watching cruises, the one we did out of Santa Barbara gave a much better wildlife experience. I did like the bingo based activity which was clever and engaging.

Thank you for your comments. Is there anything the crew could've done to make this a 5 star experience? Watching wild animals is always unpredictable but we want you to feel like you had the best trip we could possibly provide each day. Feel free to send us detailed feedback on the logistics of the trip at [email protected].

Saw whales. They guaranteed whales and boy did we see whales. What a wonderful experience. The fact that the grey whales were migrating might have helped us to see them but the tour operators seem to know how to find them. Warning....don't eat to close to your tour or you will be looking at the back of the boat a lot. Despite the stomach thing I would do it over again!!!

Positives: - Good group size (not too many people) - Very information guides and proactive staff helping to explain any questions Negatives: - Boat is a bit tired and worn despite this being a 'new' company in the area - Trip ended early, the tour was only just over 2.5 hours (as opposed to 3 hours as promised) We saw many humpbacks but only from a very far distance (understandably as we don't want to disturb the wildlife). We didn't get to see grey whales unlike other reviews. Overall, I would say the experience was average. But perhaps I went on an unlucky day.

Thanks for your feedback. Our trips are set at a time range of 2.5-3 hours in case the weather conditions or pace of the trip brings us in early or late. We will check all of our advertising to be sure that we are properly informing guests of that time range. Every day is different out on the ocean and it can be hard to predict any particular species day to day. We are the newest company on the bay, but we did inherit a previous business that was at our location. We are updating our fleet of boats as we go along and a new boat is coming in to service soon that will be fresh renovated and updated. Is there anything else the crew could work to improve guest experience? Feel free to email us feedback at [email protected].
