Saw whales. They guaranteed whales and boy did we see whales. What a wonderful experience. The fact that the grey whales were migrating might have helped us to see them but the tour operators seem to know how to find them. Warning....don't eat to close to your tour or you will be looking at the back of the boat a lot. Despite the stomach thing I would do it over again!!!

Positives: - Good group size (not too many people) - Very information guides and proactive staff helping to explain any questions Negatives: - Boat is a bit tired and worn despite this being a 'new' company in the area - Trip ended early, the tour was only just over 2.5 hours (as opposed to 3 hours as promised) We saw many humpbacks but only from a very far distance (understandably as we don't want to disturb the wildlife). We didn't get to see grey whales unlike other reviews. Overall, I would say the experience was average. But perhaps I went on an unlucky day.

Thanks for your feedback. Our trips are set at a time range of 2.5-3 hours in case the weather conditions or pace of the trip brings us in early or late. We will check all of our advertising to be sure that we are properly informing guests of that time range. Every day is different out on the ocean and it can be hard to predict any particular species day to day. We are the newest company on the bay, but we did inherit a previous business that was at our location. We are updating our fleet of boats as we go along and a new boat is coming in to service soon that will be fresh renovated and updated. Great experience. We first chose this company because of its limit of 30 passengers and detail to personal experience vs larger commercial boat with 100 plus passengers..To my delight, we saw three type of whales, killer, grey, and a breaching humpback. We had seen the grey whales early in the tour and then we saw a humpback wheel breech about 100 yards away. The crew continued to coach us to scan the area as the other two tour boats left the area. We moved on as I saw the crew search with binoculars and lead us to a pod of 7 killer whales. A few of them actually went under our boat and hovered in our area a while. With great coaching and dedication from the crew, they met and exceeded our expectations.
