Overview
From the Pier to Paradise. You’ll sail by the beautiful shorelines of St. Pete, pass under the stunning Sunshine Skyway bridge and perhaps see a dolphin or two! This is the only charter offering service from downtown St. Petersburg traveling to Egmont Key and passing under the Sunshine Skyway.

You will have 2 hours on Egmont Key to explore the pristine beaches, historic lighthouse, ruins of Ft. Dade, and the amazing wildlife before your return trip. Please note you will have to step into shallow water when going on the island.

Egmont Key is amazing!! The ruins abc especially the tortoises were fascination. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area it’s well worth your time.

We had a great trip on the Pelican and a relaxing time on Egmont Key. It was perfect for us to explore the old fort and buildings, hike the trails and have a private picnic before returning to the Pelican for a 1 hour boat ride back to St. Pete. Well worth the money for a 4 hour day trip.

We booked this trip rather last minute, but glad we did. Took a ferry ride from the harbor past the bride to the state park key. The trip from the harbor to the key was an hour. We were lucky to see many dolphins swimming. You can snorkel or explore the key which has ruins of the old fort. There are picnic tables in case you wish to bring lunch along. There is a lighthouse on the grounds as well as protected gopher tortoises and birds. We had two hours to explore the key. My only warning is that you have to be able to climb down a steep ladder into the water once you dock at the beach. Staff was nice and there were toilets on the ferry. Also parking can be difficult near the harbor so allow plenty of time. We just made the ferry because of the parking situation. Otherwise highly recommend this trip.
