This is a must see site. There is so much more to 9-11 then I realized. It’s incredible to see the sacrifices and heroism. You’ll come away with a better appreciation for America and everyone in the world who supported the recovery. You can move at your own pace and even a quick visit is worth it. One of the best museums I’ve ever seen.

The museum is thoughtful, informative, and laid out well. There is room to move around and see everything even in a crowd. It would take quite a long time to see all of the exhibits, read all of the information, and watch all of the videos, but the path is organized so that you don't have to miss anything. Another thoughtful design to the museum included "early exits" throughout displays in case emotions became overwhelming. I noted tissues strategically placed along the way as well as caring docents ready to assist. We attended early on a Saturday with 2 small children and a plan to be seeing the sites of the city all day. A family bathroom was available with a changing table and bag/coat check allowed us to view the museum without having our large hiking backpack in tow. If you only have a Saturday available, the earlier you can get in here, the better! Have a plan to come and stay in the area for awhile and advanced ticket purchase and reservation is recommended. If you have a time on your reservation, but arrive early or late on the same day they seemed to be honoring that as we got in a half an hour earlier than our reservation. Security is serious but not too big of a hassle; try to pick your outfit that doesn't require a belt!
