We visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum on 27th December. We pre-booked this trip, which you absolutely have to do if you're going to attend - they do not allow walk-in visitors. Outside at Ground Zero was just as moving, and the museum was very informative. The exhibits were very emotional and the experience was reverend, but it is an absolute must-see attraction. Will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in the area.

I refuse to call this an 'attraction'. It is a piece of history. An area I visited in order to pay my respects to the victims and families of those involved in the awful incident of 9/11. I knew visiting the memorial would be moving and potentially overwhelming, but I really did not expect how emotional I became during my visit. There were so many moments where my emotions got the better of me and I found myself tearing up. It is so important to go to the memorial and visit the museum - there's so much to learn and so much to see which is truly eye opening. I'm very glad I went.
