Our guide Jerry was so nice and helpful. He deeply described the history of Statue of Liberty. Me and my teenager had a great time.

My husband and I enjoyed the small group walking tour; we had an exceptional guide. (We did not write down the name of our guide, so we apologize for not being able to sing her praises!) We liked that there were only four of us in the walking tour so it was easy to navigate the locations we visited and easy to hear what the tour guide had to say. Headphones/headsets were NOT necessary! Also, the tour was in English as promised so very easy to understand everything that was being said. I recommend the small group walking tour prior to entering and touring the National 911 Memorial and Museum as the tour gives a greater understanding of the background, the timeline of events, what the "ground zero" area looked like prior to 911 and so much more. Additionally, the guide provided a deeper and broader understanding of the meaning behind the design of the twin memorial pools and of the thought that went into honoring the victims of 911 and the victims of the first bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993. Visiting the National 911 Memorial & Museum after completing the nearly 2 hour walking tour led to a greater understanding of the depth of this tragedy. Although I was concerned about getting to the Memorial and Museum at 5:00 in the afternoon, thinking that entering the museum at 5 would not provide enough time to see and reflect on all of the exhibits, the time actually worked out well as there were few crowds to deal with and I found there was enough time to take it all in. Again, I highly recommend the Small Group Walking Tour and the National 911 Memorial and Museum for anyone interested in walking away with a greater understanding.
