90-Minute Dolphin Watch Tour of South Padre Island

Overview
Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the tour, listen to the interesting and informative narration on the diverse marine life that lives within the waters surrounding South Padre Island. Keep an eye out for a 'pod', which may consist of 10 to 30 dolphins. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home. Then end it with a unique view of a beautiful south Texas sunset right there on the water! We were booked for the afternoon Dolphin Watch tour, but ended up switching to the morning Dolphin and Echo Tour which was a great choice. We saw a puffer fish, crab, and other sea life which were caught in the net and released. Then went on out to see the amazing dolphins. My 7 and 2 yr old grandkids had a blast, and us older kids did, too! Well worth the $10 price tag!!

This trip was very family-oriented the staff is very educational and informed us about the ecolife in the bay and the Gulf of Mexico. I personally enjoyed the margarita bar prices were $6 preach mixed drink. if you ever want to go I take this boat riding I strongly recommended to go with your family or your girlfriend they would really enjoy it

Capt Mike and Jeremiah were super informative and entertaining. We had made the reservation a few days ahead for the Eco tour but when we arrived we were only charged for the dolphin watch. I asked the lady at the desk (I think she was new) if we were doing the eco tour and she said yes. I assumed it was cheaper because of it being the off season. Not the case apparently. We didnā€™t do the eco part but we did get to have some extra time on the boat which was fine with us. It was still a lot of fun and we will definitely go back!!!
