Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the tour, listen to the interesting and informative narration on the diverse marine life that lives within the waters surrounding South Padre Island. Keep an eye out for a 'pod', which may consist of 10 to 30 dolphins. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home. Then end it with a unique view of a beautiful south Texas sunset right there on the water! An eco tour where the crew will reach marine life, explain and allow you to touch and take pictures. Have a wonderful view of South Padre from the bay. Grab a glance of the dolphins swimming along.

We took a sunset boat tour on a weekday. 2 days before I used their website to book and pay for it, and followed their direction of calling to confirm right after completing the transaction. Spoke to them and confirmed the reservation. When we showed up day if they had our name and party info on their printed sheet but told me I still had to pay. Gave them my credit card and took the tour (okay at best, it was not very fun or exciting honestly). Days later I noticed we were charged twice by them, differing amounts and under 2 different merchant names. I called to clear this up and was told they would contact me back. 2 days later I had to call again and the woman “Hilldy” was incredibly rude. First she claimed to have no record of my booking but when I told her I had the email confirmation she claimed I hadn’t called to confirm. I told her I did and she stated over and over that I didn’t, calling me the customer a liar. I have phone records of the call. Then she never could explain the differing amounts charged and refused to refund the largest charge. My credit card company is disputing this now and agrees they have shady business practices by charging under different merchant names. Beware and stay away from this company!

The boat was clean (including the restrooms). The ride went smooth and we were able to see the dolphins along with other bird species. Our kids (age: 8 yrs, and our 2 year old twins) enjoyed every bit! Liked the fact that they allowed you to take a small cooler and snacks. The views were amazing. The captain were very informative at describing the dolphins, birds and historic information. I also liked the fact that it wasn’t crowded and we were able to sit or stand. Great tour! Would definitely recommend and go on over and over again!
