Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the tour, listen to the interesting and informative narration on the diverse marine life that lives within the waters surrounding South Padre Island. Keep an eye out for a 'pod', which may consist of 10 to 30 dolphins. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home. Then end it with a unique view of a beautiful south Texas sunset right there on the water! Take the Eco tour with Isla…excellent trip and well worth the price! We saw several pods of dolphins, they pointed out several landmarks, they were quick and efficient boarding and very friendly. Water was a bit rough so my husband had to sit inside for a bit but even had a good time getting to hold a starfish.

My adult daughter and I took this 90 minute excursion to get out on the water. We were able to witness dolphins leading a large tanker. The crew apologized afterward for there being not as much dolphin activity today. That’s was fine with us — no one can guarantee the dolphins will cooperate! 😆 It was a reasonably-priced, enjoyable experience.

Seeing lots of dolphins. The crew was very friendly too! Two days later, we took the Port of Brownsville longer boat tour. The crew, Jennifer & Caesar were great! We got donuts & coffee at the start of the trip. Later, we got some yummy peel shrimp.
