90-Minute Dolphin Watch Tour of South Padre Island

Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the tour, listen to the interesting and informative narration on the diverse marine life that lives within the waters surrounding South Padre Island. Keep an eye out for a 'pod', which may consist of 10 to 30 dolphins. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home. Then end it with a unique view of a beautiful south Texas sunset right there on the water! We were initially disappointed because we went on Friday for the 5:00 p.m. tour. After we were boarded, we found out that we couldn't go due to issue with the boat. However, they offered us an alternate time the next day or a refund. We went back the next day and had a wonderful time. The captain provided great commentary and stopped when saw dolphins.

Thank you so much for understanding. We spend a lot of time and money on upkeep and upgrading of our vessels in the off season. However, the nonstop trips and summer heat do take a toll on our vessels. We are happy you enjoyed your cruise and hope to see you again!

We truly enjoyed our experience. Loved seeing the dolphins and all the pelicans dropping down and eating fish. Nice because the host gave us a verbal tour of our surroundings including seeing the space X areas. Shrimp and fishing boats were cool too.

Great experience at a very reasonable cost. We probably saw 50 dolphins! Knowledgeable boat pilot. We would recommend for all ages.
