On the good side, the was a nice change of pace from BG. It was pretty and clean with lots to do. On the bad side, there is only one way in so ride-shares and hotel shuttles have to wait in a painful line with everyone trying to park. It looks like there’s a gate off a side road near the parking booth that could work for a side entrance. This one simple improvement could make a huge difference in the overall experience. But the food wait was the absolute worst part of the day. They obviously plan for food only based on their all day dining sales. There were lots of places to get food or drinks but either they were closed or had already ran out of food. It killed the mood for us because you didn’t know they were out until you waited in yet another line. The wait for the water slides wasn’t too bad and everyone had a good time aside from being hungry and thirsty. It just felt like they were struggling to be ready to be open.

Never again. Seems Tampa is the lightning capital of the USA. They SHUT DOWN the park, with people in it, if there is lightning within 30 miles of Tampa. They shut down for at least 30 minutes straight, twice (30 minutes each time) in a beautiful December morning in 2015, because there was lightning in ORLANDO. They also shut down Busch Gardens outside rides for lightning alert. Never more coming to this place. Wasted my entrance fee and my locker fee.

Beautiful park kept Covid 19 clean, practicing social distancing, masks required, hand washing. Staff polite, inexpensive. Spin Vartex is a water slide with dual tail spin. This raft is high speed, high banking rotations, rapid descents, and the two open tail spends.
