I highly recommend this tour .My only wish is that it could have lasted longer, and encompassed more sites and information, but there is only 4 hours and then of course the museum!!! I hope this tour gets the publicity it deserves. I recommended to everyone I met in the district afterwards

I had attempted to get tickets to the museum and failed then found this tour. I decided to do the tour since I would get to see way more than I had planned in a facilitated manor that also gave me history and information I wouldn’t get on my own with the bonus of guaranteed museum entry. Kenny was a fabulous tour guide, knowledgeable and great personality. I do recommend eating a good breakfast ahead of time as the tour isn’t over till about 1pm. Also, the cafeteria in the museum is delicious yet pricey so if budget is an issue, eat at the food trucks outside the museum before going in. Having only about 4 hours to see the museum didn’t allow me to see everything yet I saw a good amount. The tour was a great set up for some of the things you see at the museum. Great tour! Highly recommend!!! Best way to see and learn as much about African American history in one day.

Since one is unable to book same day tickets for this tour, the owner of the tour company was instrumental in organizing payment and facilitating my arrival to the meeting location for the tour.—4 stars for customer service!!! The tour was informative and parts of it were really interactive. There were several times that we were given the option of departing the bus to take pictures. The culmination of the tour was obtaining access to the AA Museum of History and Culture! One small suggestion is: the patrons of this tour should be afforded with an opportunity to dine, or purchase a snack, at a historical restaurant while on the tour. This said, take a snack with you if you need to eat at scheduled times. Of note, one could dine in the restaurant of the museum (expensive); or, if you are into street food, purchase something to eat from one of the street vendors near the museum.
