What To Expect

Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve

Your hot air balloon tour check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

Camelback Mountain

Soar past iconic Camelback Mountain in the Phoenix Valley. This mountain is a favorite of local hikers and cyclists.

Downtown Phoenix

As the sun sets, you'll see Downtown Phoenix in the distance. As you come in to land, a table complete with linens and china awaits you in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You'll be greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

The hot air ballon experience in the afternoon was so fun! It was incredible to see how massive the balloons were and the heat it takes to get the in the air. The views in the air was spectacular and it was so peaceful. Our guide Don was very kind and had some good stories for us. He was very professional and had tons of experience so we felt very safe with him. My wife and i enjoyed taking pictures when we landed in the desert too. The sunset was incredible and we had the freedom to take our time taking it all in. The champagne and snacks at the end were such a treat and "icing on the cake". It was incredible and totally worth the money. I highly recommend this!

Oh...my...word...the whole experience was absolutely wonderful! What you get for your the value is amazing! The balloon ride, the appetizers, lovely setup, champagne- well worth it. Jonathan was a fun and safe pilot. I am so glad I found this company. The Balloonist Prayer champagne glass was a nice touch too! It was cool to see the process- the balloon being blown up, the peaceful balloon ride, the fun stories behind the history hot air balloons, and my goodness- the champagne toast at sunset- breathtaking! Bucket list-approved!
