What To Expect

Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve

Your hot air balloon tour check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

Camelback Mountain

Soar past iconic Camelback Mountain in the Phoenix Valley. This mountain is a favorite of local hikers and cyclists.

Downtown Phoenix

As the sun sets, you'll see Downtown Phoenix in the distance. As you come in to land, a table complete with linens and china awaits you in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You'll be greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

If you haven't done this or if you have, this company is the one to go with. I Highly recommend flying with Captain Craig Kennedy and his crew. Afraid of heights, no problem, Craig will prep you to overcome this fear, you will be flying with a top notch crew. I will be back.

Captain Craig and his crew were awesome. This is an experience everyone should take advantage of. Even though we were over a mile high, the experience was not at all scary and the views were breathtaking. If this is on your bucket list, DO IT!

One never knows what to expect with the weather so you might as well go for it when you can. We were not disappointed, my husband is afraid of heights, but was willing to try. Our Captain Craig took us up slow and easy. Once underway we reached heights of over 6,000 feet. The view was magnificent. A once in a lifetime experience! (At least) So peaceful you might want to do it again. Why limit yourself. Jim was our chase van driver that was very helpful before and afterwards. You are in good hands both on the ground and in the air. If you have any thoughts about it, go ahead and do it. You are going to love it!
