What To Expect

Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve

Your hot air balloon tour check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

Camelback Mountain

Soar past iconic Camelback Mountain in the Phoenix Valley. This mountain is a favorite of local hikers and cyclists.

Downtown Phoenix

As the sun sets, you'll see Downtown Phoenix in the distance. As you come in to land, a table complete with linens and china awaits you in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You'll be greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

Our hot air expeditions balloon ride was absolutely perfect in every way. My husbnd and I understood there were several companies to choose from but we are convinced no one could have treated us better than captain Craig and Todd. they make a great team and it seemed like our safety and satisfaction was their number 1 priority. Loved every minute of it, from actually getting the balloon 'up and running', to the after-ride sit down with delicious appetizers and "bubbly" at sunset. Craig is a very professional and seasoned pilot and we enjoyed learning all about the geography, wind pressure, altitude etc. It was the highlight of our trip to Scottsdale

This was our fourth balloon ride, and it was the best! Captain Tommy and Jim, our driver, -- both extremely knowledgeable and fun, gave us a fabulous ride. The after party was the nicest we ever had. I don't like heights -- ladders are to much for me, but our crew made us feel safe and secure so we enjoyed every minute.

For my husband's 59th I thought what a perfect way to start the day but with a sunset balloon ride! Gorgeous sunrise, Jim was fantastic and Captain Al made the ride so enjoyable! Gave us lots of area info mixed with humor! We felt very safe and the entire crew was great! Would highly recommend! After the ride we got to know our fellow riders better and enjoyed a fantastic champagne breakfast!
