We’ll be exploring endless miles of bear habitat in Lake Clark National Park. As always all gear, lunch, ground transportation and airfare is included along with an expert Bear Guide. Quite simply, we do bear viewing better than anyone. Our Bear Guides are just that, Guides, they are not pilots attempting to be Bear Guides. We leave the flying to our pilots and let our Bear Guides do what they do best, show you bears in a safe, and friendly manner that’s not disruptive to the bears.

We spent the day pack rafting and can truly say it exceeded our expectations! It was beautiful to get out on the river and see the wilderness in a new perspective, as well as get the thrill of some rapids along the way. They made sure safety was the #1 priority but that we also had the best time. We started with an hour lesson and then hit the rapids for the day. You get to wear a dry suit, so this is the perfect activity on a rainy day because you stay dry! The company was incredibly helpful and responsive during booking and made the process easy. Would definitely recommend!

Great trip to learn packrafting skills in a backdrop of beautiful scenery. My son and I both had an awesome trip and learned a lot. Kyle, our guide, gave us specific pointers in advance on how to maneuver each rapid, making it fun and successful. My tip for people thinking of doing this trip is bring a camera even if it isn't waterproof. You can leave it in the drybag and take pictures from shore during lunch or when you pull over to scout rapids. Or, if you have a GoPro, request a helmet with a mount.

For her birthday, I challenged my friend who copes with various disabilities and anxieties to try packrafting. She DID it! And I'm pretty sure without Todd guiding us, it could have gone differently. He embodies everything a good guide should be - knowledgable, instructive, compassionate, clear, patient. A true professional. I wish every person entering guiding could spend some time with him to see how a professional does this (difficult and demanding) work. GREAT day. And we saw eagles doing very cool flight-tricks. And a baby moose. Super-cool day.
