We’ll be exploring endless miles of bear habitat in Lake Clark National Park. As always all gear, lunch, ground transportation and airfare is included along with an expert Bear Guide. Quite simply, we do bear viewing better than anyone. Our Bear Guides are just that, Guides, they are not pilots attempting to be Bear Guides. We leave the flying to our pilots and let our Bear Guides do what they do best, show you bears in a safe, and friendly manner that’s not disruptive to the bears.

We spent a great day on the Kenai river with Isaac! My father and myself were inexperienced using the packrafts and Isaac did a great job teaching us all the fundamentals. After our learning session, we went down the river and experienced multiple river rapids. Isaac guided us through all of it, and couldn’t have done a better job. The river provided amazing opportunity to see alaska in a way we’ve never seen. Not only was Isaac a great tutor, but also became a friend. 10/10 would recommend!

I signed up with Kenai Backcountry looking for solid instruction to up my pack rafting game. Kyle & crew (Isaac) more than delivered. He tailored the course (3 days on the Kenai River) to the time I had available, and by the end of the course I felt I'd gained the skills and confidence I was seeking. Kyle is a superb instructor, imparting real-world pack rafting experience, but tempering that with a sense of humor. Oh, and all in a setting with drop-dead gorgeous scenery! I highly recommend Kenai Backcountry Adventures. -Tom
