Once you have purchased a voucher, you MUST reserve a time with the museum. Please see below instructions on how to book online through the Museum website.

• Go to upper right corner press Reserve Tickets
• On the next page scroll down to Select Tickets
• Choose the fourth box “Passholders or IDNYC and Corporate Members”
• Next, scroll down and add number of people attending and press continue
• Next, select date and time of arrival and press continue
• Then you will see Review Cart press continue
• Go to Guest Checkout and enter your email address and press Continue as Guest
• Under Billing Address, enter your required information
• Last step complete order

Instructions:
For assistance booking your entry to the Museum, please call the Central Reservations Department at 212-769-5200 daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST.
Once your Museum reservation is confirmed, simply show the email upon arrival. You do not have to print anything or pay again.
If you are eligible for ticketed exhibitions, Hayden Planetarium Space Show, or giant-screen film they will be selected on arrival.

Did guided tour of museum last week with Vicky a volunteer and she is excellent, her enthusiasm is infectious, she is a walking encyclopaedia and very interesting and fun. It’s a wonderful place to visit and we will definitely be back again. Too many highlights to mention, it’s was just brilliant.

Purchasing a pre-paid ticket voucher with TripAdvisor/Viator was a terrible mistake. Waited over an hour and a half to get through the security line only to make it to the ticket counter to try to have the voucher validated when the museum ticketing system crashed. Buy your ticket directly at the museum instead of Viator. Viator was not flexible with the issue and refused to give me a refund for losing my ticket due to the museum ticket system crashing. Must book your visit in advance through the museum website. Avoid Viator.

We had to wait in line for about one hour. When we got inside their system crashed and we had to keep on waiting. It was a waste of time just to get in along. People that were in line and bought tickets through their website got in so much faster. Apparently, that was about the only thing that was working!
