Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

My wife and I toured the school house and watched the movie Jacob choice which we thoroughly enjoyed and did the VIP tour the next day which was fantastic met a dairy farmer and a cabinet maker they were all wonderful the best was spending time with an Amish family and socializing with the whole family very educational. I would give them 5 stars the staff for both events were knowledgeable and entertaining a must do for everyone

Speaking with the Amish family at their home was amazing. They are wonderful people and I enjoyed learning about their culture. It was like hanging out with old friends.

What a treat. My mother and I had a wonderful time with "Dr. Jay." He was very knowledgeable of the Amish and their culture! A must-do when you take a trip to Bird in Hand.
