We were disappointed that the Killer whale pod was too far north of our location to see, however the guides lead us to several other whale species. We loved the trip.

This is the second time I have been on a trip with Captain John. Both times he has made the trip an educational adventure. Enlightening, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Seeing whales was the goal ( and he succeeded despite the late season)...having Captain John was a bonus!

Although the captain and crew were very nice, the trip was very expensive for what you got. It was a long bouncing boat ride to see a few whales from a big distance. I have been on several whale watching trips in Cape Cod and Alaska that were a lot less expensive and we got much closer and saw many big whales as well as killer whales in Alaska. From what the crew said, this was a normal amount of sightings. Not worth it - wouldn't recommend
