Since it was cold and sprinkling it was nice that the boat had an indoor cabin. I personally felt like time was spent too much on sight seeing and “other” wildlife. When we did finally spot a humpback it felt like we spent way too long in that one spot. I could hear on the captains radio that other species of whales (minke) were being spotted, but no attempt was made to go there. We just stayed waiting for the one whale to resurface. Then captain announced we would go “explore areas where no other boats had gone”. Why? Why not go where you know they are being spotted. It was a little disappointing.

Very entertaining experience. 👏 Enjoyed visiting our own back yard. Expressed with the crew,Drew and Alex explained and pointed many interesting animals and history. Saw a beautiful family of orcas.

The whole experience was great. Being outdoors on the ocean. Wind in your face. Good crew, good travelers. Saw wildlife including an orca, also eagles, seals, seabirds. Was able to converse with biologist and captain about what we were seeing.
