We took the tour out of Anacotes on the vessel Orcas Express with Captain Drew! Our naturalists were Meg and Trevor! What a fabulous crew! They were all so kind and knowledgeable! They made sure everyone was comfortable and were available to answer any questions! They showed us much of the interesting wildlife that spend time in the waters around the San Juan islands as we made our way out to find the orca whales! And whales we saw! Three different pods all gathered in one area together! It was amazing! We were impressed with Captain Drew’s respect for the whales and following the safety protocol for the whales! It was such a fun and awe inspiring time! When the whales started leaving the area we made our way back to Anacortes but instead of traveling straight back, Captain Drew took us on a tour through Deception Pass which was really a fun chance to see it from the water! All in all, we felt it couldn’t have been a better experience! The vessel was a nice size and very comfortable and we were really lucky to have the captain and crew we had! We would highly recommend the Blackfish Whale Watching tour out of Anacortes Skyline Marina!

Great crew. Jim, Jeremy and Meg were awesome. Very informative and fun!! We saw minke and orca whales. Worth the $$
