What a day with a great Captain and crew! Saw two different groups of Orcas, out in the open and close to the bank hunting. What an intimate experience. Also saw a Big grey whale right next to the boat that came up several times super close. Great conversation with the captain and crew of woman. Wish I had was able to thank them too. Would go back over and over again. Thanks Captain Dave!

I want whale watching on the Orcas Express Monday August 19th. The crew including Drew, Jim, Aubrey, and Alex were great. They were informative, funny, and very accommodating. Within 10-15 minutes, we spotted whales. It was a great day watching a group of orcas just hang around, slap their tails, and even a couple of spyhop's. The crew were great in positioning the boat for viewing while they also made sure they stayed within the proper distance from the whales. The Naturalist on board was very informative, telling us about the whales and their activity while we watched. After time with the orcas, we took off and found a gray whale that was feeding. We ended the day with a short tour around Deception pass. This is I believe the fifth time I have gone on a whale watch with Outer Island Excursions. They always do a great job, and I will definitely go out with them again.

We saw humpback whales, orcas, the rare minke whale, sea lions, seals and a very rare sea otter. The crew of Matt, Brook and Aubrey was fabulous, knowledgeable, friendly and very approachable! Not to mention some breath-taking views.
